Lundhs acquires Saga Pearl

We are delighted to announce that Lundhs is to acquire the Norwegian quarrying company Saga Pearl AS based in Tveidalen, Larvik, from the Chinese stone company Best Cheer. Lundhs will assume responsibility for the company from 31 March 2017.

‘We are thrilled to have reached an agreement with Best Cheer for the purchase of Saga Pearl. Lundhs vision is to be the preferred partner for our customers and stakeholders. Through acquiring Saga Pearl, we are reinforcing our position as a producer and distributor of larvikite,’ says Thor-Anders Lundh Håkestad, CEO of Lundhs.

Saga Pearl produces the material Blue Pearl. From now on, this material will be included in Lundhs’ natural stone portfolio under the name of Lundhs Blue.
